a passion for pineapples

Don't you find that sometimes objects just sing out to you to buy them?!  I have been studiously trying to ignore a beautiful but totally unnecessary pair of silvered pineapple vases which have been sitting in one of my favourite Norfolk shops for close to a year.  The day came when finally I had to relent - they had been knocked down to cost price and were practically BEGGING me to take them home.  So naturally I obliged, and now I have to say I am rather pleased with the effect of this one filled with pink and white roses.  And I keep telling myself, they are going to look PERFECT in Meadow Barn ....
